What do you need to start an acrylic painting?
I'm going to the art store to get supplies for an acrylic painting. What kind of supplies should I buy? I'll be painting a landscape of a mountain and river.
1) Acrylic paints, brushes, palette, canvas... obviously
2) What kind of thinner?
3) Anything else I'm missing?

You really don't need to buy a pallet.
For acrylics you just use water to thin it.
Make sure you get brushes for acrylic paint.
Try to get different sizes of brushes.
TIPS:
And for painting especially landscapes do not be afraid to mix your colors on the painting itself.
It's easier to do a wash before actually starting. It's like sketching but with the paint.
Kinda like an outline.
All you do is add a lot of water to your paint.
For a wash you don't really need a lot of paint.
